Title: Camera destinations
Post by: tom b on March 12, 2017, 07:53:09 am
Singapore was my duty free camera destination.

I bought my first duty free SLR, a Pentax Spotmatic in 1976.

It was followed by a Leica CL in 1978.

I traded the Leica CL in Singapore for a Nikon FE in 1979.

My next big trip (I hope) is an island hopping trip to Singapore, the Phillipines, Taiwan and Okinawa.

What was you big destination, I know Hong Kong was big on many peoples list?

Cheers,

I take it you mean destinations or is detiations  a peculiar Australian word?

I think there is one "n" out there, still looking for its destination.

Are you talking about travel to purchase gear or travel to take photos with gear.

I use the Internet to do my traveling when I purchase my gear. A lot easier and cheaper to sit in my den with some wine when shopping.
