The light wispy clouds behind the silos really make the shot standout.  It's like a natural vignette.

Indeed. My first thought was alien ships landing. You know, most of those silos seem to levitate above the ground :)

Yes, sometimes I think of this vast flat empty white place as planet Saskach-1 (labelled "Saskatchewan" on maps of Canada).

Glad you liked the image. I need to tune the distortion a bit.
