Title: Fotodoix GFX Adapter does not work on modern Mamiya 645 mount lenses
Post by: algrove on March 07, 2017, 02:56:06 pm
Since I could not mount a Mamiya 645 mount modern lens to this adapter and after calling Fotodoix technical support, I was told that it was for older Mamiya lenses and not newer lenses probably made starting about 8-10 years ago.  This adapter has 3 different sized bonnet flanges machined into it.

So if you have Mamiya 645 Mount older lenses without electronic functions, it might work.

Yes. The old Manual focus glass which is still around.

I hope they can come out with an adapter that will work with the more modern Mamiya glass.

I don't think any of their lens adapters are active but that would be cool.  Their new dealer price list for the GFX adapters has two entries for Mamiya to GFX but I think one of them is a mistake.

Yes, the newer phase one or mamiya lenses has a electronic shutter. And this Adapter can not control this.  I hope a company will build a P1 adapter for the newer lenses...
