Loved the Review Article on the WCC system, very insightful and well written.
I don't believe the system is expensive at all, specially when compared to other older and very reputable Large Filter Holder systems out there like the Cavision & Fomatt [Formatt-Hitech as it is known today], Slivestri, and many others from the Cine film industry as these holders were typically handled due to their great expense.
Nice to see this new comer make such a grand entrance.
Cheers

Lance,
I do hope you saw the review I did on this system on the home page of LuLa.

Thanks for the write-up, Kevin. How heavy is the whole setup? I've been using screw-in filters my whole life and am ready to put sore wrists behind. I don't imagine I would be using many filters — my entire set would be the polarizer, 3-stop, and 6-stop.

Filter Holder w/ Polarizer = 12.5 ounces
ND Vault (w/o filter) = .6 ounces
Grad Vault (w/o filter) = 1.6 ounces

Why does it have to be so damn Ugly?
-
What I want is this, but also fitting the 17 TS-e and 11-24 while also incorporating a lens hood.

Seems fine to me. I think they tried to jazz it up with the wood and stuff which really isn’t necessary, and doesn’t do that much, but at least they put a lot of thought into it. I like the overall functionality.
My concern is figuring out how to get a shade in front of the filters. Lots of opportunity for flare and resulting contrast loss otherwise.
Also mine arrived with 2 of the 3 screws that hold the polarizer rotation knob missing. I found them in the box, but will probably send some feedback ... they need to make sure they are more secure.

I am waiting for the model that will work on my S-K BR 35 lens (105mm filter size). Then I am in.

Anyone tried the NiSi V5 100mm filter system?

I use the NiSi 150mm filter system - with the Lee holder. I purchased it for use with my Phase One 35mm lens (XF camera). It seems to do a good job - equal to the Lee system I currently use for 100mm. Having to carry a separate filter system for this lens is a pain, and frankly means I don't use it too much.
-
I use the Nisi V5 100mm system. It is well thought out and has a polariser which you can easily rotate with an external wheel. 10stop ND is very neutral in terms of colour.

The NiSi system seems to have all the positive qualities of the Wine Country set-up ... without all that fake wood vulgarity, which I find really disturbing tbpf.

+1. The WC system seems like a nicely designed system, but I asked the owner if there was a holder available that was not made out of Rosewood, and he seemed shocked that anyone would NOT want a Rosewood holder.

They really really really need a 150mm system...

I think I saw something on their social media about a 150mm system coming later this year. Maybe around the holidays but I could be mis-remembering it.
