Title: Broncolor head/light cable...
Post by: aztwang on February 23, 2017, 10:01:48 pm
Hello!..I picked up an old Flashman parts head and want to make 2 16" extension cables out of the 32' cable that is on the head. Does anyone have any idea how much
these  replacement ends are ?? Are the ends proprietary? Are there wiring diagrams available out there somewhere or do I have to send it to Silvinos or Bron in NY?

Thanks

Don

Well I have those answers for those of you wondering the same. Below is the parts cost for male and female ends. Labor from a repair center is
an hour for one end to assemble and solder everything into place and 1.5 hours for both ends. So assuming I picked up a junk head for $100 and
cut the cable off and had an end put on it final tally would be $330 which is the cost of a used cable....So no real advantage building your own. If you're wondering
about soldering it up yourself Broncolor will not let loose of wiring diagrams.
