fyi - two of the images were inserted in the wrong place in the article

Useful article, nice shots. Thank you. I'm going to try more integration, when I spot wildlife it's a reflex to center on it. Context.

I liked the images and one was even close to home (Crested Butte). I've tried to do this also and agree it's hard to do consistently. You just have to be ready to see it and catch it.
Here's one that's also near Crested Butte that I took a couple of summers ago while getting into position to shoot a mountain bike race. I thought was kind of fun and I even sold some prints to the rancher in this valley.

Of course these days there are ther ways to put life into your landscapes.
As an example, here is a sample of wildlife I encountered a few years ago on Vancouver Island. His expression inspired me to place him in a few other settings.

Great examples! I almost forgot about the many photos I include my favorite canine model in.
She is pretty photogenic, not too hard to get into position (depending on what distractions there might be), and she usually works for Milk Bones.
