Late May planning to travel up the Oregon Coast to Olympic National Park. And then to Palouse. Any nuggets, suggestions? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Once you get to Seaside, OR, head back to I-5 and then zoom up north into WA until you get to state road 12. Take that to Aberdeen and skip the southern WA coast - time consuming and realtively boring landscape.
Some more ideas here...

That's a lot of driving. How long you going for?

Photos 6, 10, 11, and 12 were taken near Netarts, OR. There are some excellent sea stacks and beautiful coastline to photograph.

Bandon, make sure tide corresponds with thors well during sunset, cape Kiwanda, Samuel H Boardman - Natural Bridges, Head up to Washington - Second Beach, ruby beach, - Hoh Rainforest, Needles, Toleak Point, La Push, Hole in the Wall, Shi Shi beach, Cape Flattery, Sol Duc River - waterfalls, On your way along 90 - Hit Silver Peak before Palouse. From Palouse, you'll want to go to Glacier, and then down to Yellowstone, and finish up at the Tetons. Alternatively you can hit the gorge.

:) thanx mdMurph, appreciate your insight & detailed itinerary. Can't make to YStone or Tetons, but will catch a Columbia River Gorge. Counting days 👍🏼

A lot of great places have been mentioned already. Not sure which direction you will be coming from, but some places I would visit on the coast include Harris Beach State Park, Cape Blanco State Park, Bandon, Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, Cape Kiwanda, Cape Lookout, Hug Point, and Ecola State Park. It probably won't be on your path, but John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a great place too. This page has information on a lot of those places https://loadedlandscapes.com/or-photography-locations/ (https://loadedlandscapes.com/or-photography-locations/)
