Title: new equipment development

Just curious.....since I own Canon gear, shouldn't I have a say in the develpment of future Canon cameras? even though I'm not pro?
I have my own ideas where the 1Ds should go....shouldn't I have a say since I own one?

You do.  Buy the next one if you like it or do not buy it if you do not.  The one after that will reflect such things.

Hmmm,

I'm sure influential photographers such as MR and other "Explorers of Light" have been suggesting improvements to things like mirror lockup and that groovy rubber tab that covers the remote cable release on the 5D, but they haven't been listening to them.

I wish you luck...
