Title: DPP color issue.
Post by: adam_k on July 17, 2006, 05:11:56 pm
my question has a few parts, so here goes:

I convert my RAW files in DPP and  in the preferences have selected to Adobe RGB for the color space. Then when I bring my file into PSCS2 it says that there is no color profile attached and asks if I'd like to assign one. When I get passed that, my image colors are not exactly the same as I see them in DPP. Any suggestions of what I'm doing wrong?

2nd part of the question: I'll usually do a batch process in DPP and then go to Adobe Bridge  [ this time the files are either Tiffs or JPGS} and make selects as I like some of its options better. My colors have shifted once in Bridge then what I saw in DPP. Then.... If I open up the photo in PSCS2 and compare the images to those in Bridge, there is even a shift between those. What am I doing wrong?

If it helps at all, Im shooting with a 5D, and usually wouldn't mind about the color shifts but just invested in a new monitor and printer and want things to be smooth.

thanks for your help
