If you haven't read it, go here (https://luminous-landscape.com/nomadic-photography-life/).

Well said, Sarah. It is certainly a dream for many to do as you and Ron have done. We encountered much familial angst when I left my plum teaching position here in Canada to take my wife and 4-year-old daughter to Tanzania for two years, which became four years, then three more years in England. Breaking out of the societal norms can be daunting, but very, very liberating. It's incredible how defensive people get about their life choices when someone else chooses to break out of the mould!

Your discussion regarding staying longer in one place also resonates as we have found the same thing. When we travel now. It's for a minimum of a week here and a week there. You really get to know a place when you have time to slow down, talk to the local people, find the special places, relax, get into the "zen" of a place. Tough to do when constantly on the move.

Hopefully your success will inspire others to do the same. BTW: Superb pics!

Agree. I had a job going around doing corporate work for a while. The novelty keeps things stirring. It is better to travel than to stay too long.
