Title: banner printing epson 4800
Post by: marc gerritsen on July 16, 2006, 02:37:47 am
mucking around with the new epson 4800 and want to print a panorama of 16x47 long.
Thought I could print a "banner" meaning something longer than the standard paper.
But the page set up does not want to go bigger than 24 inches length.
Is there a way I can print this panorama or should I throw the epson out!
some help would be very much appreciated as the work should be framed tomorow and delivered the day after that.
cheers
Marc

I guess I will answer this question my self!!!
Yes it can be done, if you navigate through another incomprehesible and unlogical menu with too many sub-menus and sub-dialogue boxes, but don't ask me how I got it done.
I have to retrace my steps?!?!

You undoubtedly used the window called "user definted paper size" and explicitly entered a new size paper and printed to that.  I've printed over a meter wide on 13" paper using this dialog.
