Title: Transferring Hasselblad.fff files from Mac to PC
Post by: Dinarius on December 07, 2016, 03:22:08 pm
I am capturing single and multi-shot Hasselblad files to a Mac laptop.

I want to use a USB HD to transfer the files to my desktop PC for processing.

I formatted the USB HD in exFAT and copied the files across.

They are all there.

However, on the PC but not on the Mac, for each full-size single and multi-shot file, there is a tiny 4kb .fff file.

Why is this?

Can I delete them and just keep the full-size files?

Thanks.

I would say yes. They are the probably the resource forks which are just used for housekeeping. If you wish you can use Clean My Mac or similar to delete "junk" before swapping over.
