Title: Paper for Wedding Photos
Post by: jamie_m_ on June 29, 2006, 07:01:14 am
I know most people are only just receiving their ipf5000, but can anyone suggest what papers might work especially well for wedding photograpy in the ipf5000 ?

edit...

Slightly related...

When shooting a wedding I use the Epson Picturemate 500 to print out on the day, customer's are happy with the prints, but I always feel the photo-glossy paper doesn't always give the best impression.

I know that Epson supply a paper pack along with the ink cartridge for the Picturemate, but does anyone have experience of using different papers in the Epson Picturemate 500 printer?

You can use just about any paper you like. I have run Summerset Velvet RW uncoated through, Epson Enhanced matte, glossy, Koday glossy... most everything works. The particulars will come from what you want. There are other factors like coating or laminating -- Epson glossy does not seem to like laminating, while kodak seems fine, stuff like that. Good luck
