Hi Michael,
Any chance of getting a hold of the test image you've used? It'd be good to print out on my own printers and an ipf5000 so I can see the difference for myself before buying. The test image I've got isn't really suited to the type of printing I'm likely to be doing.
Justin.

You can use the ones Bill Atkinson has here:

Scroll down to "Profile Test Images".

Understandable. I figured it was a long shot.

Michael,
Which colour space is your test image printed from? e.g. Adobe RGB, ProPhoto RGB?
If we knew the colour space, we could recreate the blue wedge you've used and see the 'purple/blue' effect you describe, on our own printers.
Thanks in anticipation,
Alan
