Title: X-Rite i1iO used for BW test image target measurement
Post by: keithcooper on August 15, 2016, 06:29:41 pm
I know a lot of people us the B&W test image I produced a few years ago for parts of their printer/paper evaluation and linearisation. I normally read the test strip manually with an i1Pro2

My old GretagMacbeth Eye One iO was just upgraded into an X-Rite i1iO and thought I'd update the test target on the test image to work with the iO.

I appreciate that an iO is a bit of overkill for this (its list price is more than the Canon PRO-2000 printer), but using it with i1Profiler makes it easy to do multi-reading averaging for a 51 step target. This version of the test image is also available as a 16 bit TIFF, as well as the JPEG, along with the target file (for i1Profiler). The target space on the test image could easily be swapped for others (the original is formatted for using ColorPort to read with an i1Pro or i1Pro2)

The link to the new file looks to be broken.

Whoops - I'd uploaded it to the wrong folder.

Thanks for mentioning it  ... now fixed
