Title: Photo of a little girl
Post by: phaethon on May 15, 2006, 10:15:08 am
Please comment this picture. I know it contains a lot of distracting details, but because of the nature of the object  I cannot repeat the photo.
What I am interested in is, whether people see that photo doesn't work because of these distracting details (especially the stroller), or those details makes the scene more interesting itself.

Thanks for posting your image. With reference to the distracting elements you mentioned, for me the pram alongside the little girl's face had to go. Then, although the chair created a bit of interest, I don't think it worked in the image so I removed it as well. My very feeble attempts at removing these elements have been done quickly to get an idea of whether the elements are distracting or contribute to the narrative.
