Title: ICC profile for Canon iP8500, Epson paper
Post by: Jeremy Roussak on April 30, 2006, 11:56:21 am
Hi,

I have a Canon Pixma iP8500 printer and, from a moment of madness (or a desire for a cheap deal!), some Epson Premium Pro glossy paper.

Does anyone know where I can get a suitable profile for this rather odd combination, or what I could use for an approximation?

Thanks

Jeremy

Jeremy,

I think a custom profile is your only option for accurate colors. Otherwise choose a canned profile for the nearest approximation of Canon paper, although I dont hold out a lot of luck.

Not such a bargain...... however if the profile gives you good results you may have found a long time solution.
