Title: alternative to paper backgrounds

hi all, i work in the uk and am currently using white colorama rolls for shoots. recently i have started shooting for a client at their premises an i am getting through a lot of paper. i have seen various material background that are washable, my questions are

1. what is the best brand
2. are they crease free
3. do they stand up to washing

Andy, maybe not what you want but a 4x8 sheet of "Formica" black in color works great for  a background. It makes a nice curve and no harsh glare. A lot of trouble to carry around though and it will scratch. Other off colors might be worth a try, Wyndham
