Title: White mountains
Post by: benInMA on March 22, 2006, 08:55:39 pm
I just finally (after a month) uploaded some pictures from my vacation up in New Hampshire.

Link to my 15 favorites (http://bsquared.net/2006/february/20060227/)

I was kind of frustrated at my ability to put together any good wide angle compositions.  There was very little snow (for the season) and everything was pretty gray & brown.  I was able to spend a little time around sunrise and especially sunset each day going out to look for stuff but I actually still spent most of my time snowboarding.

Any critiques & suggestions welcome.

Just for the sake of including a picture here is one I like, to me this area kind of has a weird vibe of wilderness and development that is a bit out of control.

Ben,

For this winter I think you've done quite well. I had to go back and forth several times between the color and B&W versions of the Mt. Washington one, but in the end I think the B&W works a little better for me. Several of these are quite nice.

Thanks, I had a tough time deciding whether to upload the B/W, Color, or both of those Mount Washington shots.

I'm a sucker for Mt. Washington as I've left my share of blood, guts, and tears on the auto road in the bicycle hillclimb.   (It's awesome!)
