hi...i was just about to buy the Epson P4000 but I just read the latest review about the new Jobo device on Rob G's link, the article says that they are not impressed w/ the Epson, that the Jobo is going to rule the world, etc. Why? I did not see any info on what was "wrong" with the epson.
I need the device to back up CF cards while shooting on location where I dont have my laptop, then be able to edit the Raw files, check sharpness, etc. ( I have the canon 1ds m2 & canon 5d ), does the epson p4000 do this well?

Using a device while shooting on location you want speed... that is the drawback of the P4000.

No idea, but the P2000 takes about a half hour. Are the P4000's out yet?

As said in the article you read, it takes the Epson a half-hour for a 4GB card.
