Very interesting! The tests seem to be competently carried out and with some humour, but I know nothing about this site.

I've suspected for some time that a really good copy of the Sigma 12-24 would be a gem. I need to find some camera retailer with a warehouse full of them so I can cherry pick   .

I suspect the surprise for many is the Nikon 14mm which seems to be a complete dog.

Thanks, Mark, that was yet again an entertaining read as well as interesting!

I've earlier noted that my friend's sample of the 16-35mm f/2.8L seemed decent enough as to not cause any major complaints in RL use on a 5D (that Asia trip in September-November), and I'm also happy to see that the Nikon performs so well.

In the 14mm group test, that Sigma was a stunner, but I was also surprised to see that the Canon outperformed the Nikon.

Minor, off-topic nit-picks: in the 14mm group test, you have mislabeled the f/5.6 test for the Nikon as a f/2.8, and in the WA zoom showdown, the last mouse-over comparison doesn't seem to work.
