Title: Walk tru Hamburg with my new toy...

Checked out my new Sony DSC R1 at river Alster in Hamburg. So far I'm very satisfied with this Cam though it's definitly unusable when you have to shoot moving objects in poor light-conditions.

This image has quite a surreal quality. It feels as if the clouds are moving! Julie

There's a simple reason for this feeling: Cropping the foreground off!

Attached you see the original image with much water in the foreground. Now, you're in front of a scene: Water with sky above, some lovely houses in the background. Snipping the water off has two effects:

1) Focussing the image to the much more interesting sky.
2) Dragging the viewer into the scene.

Seems to work
